What breaks first and where.
Throttle wire may bend excessively and break
SeriousOccasionalCFMoto determined at the factory level that the throttle wire on some model year 2023 Ibex 800 T and 800 S motorcycles may bend excessively and break, resulting in loss of throttle response, limited engine RPM, and/or engine stalling. The defect stems from a configuration of three overly tight rubber clasps that secure the throttle wire and cause it to bend excessively during steering maneuvers. All subsequent (post-fix) production had the clasps repositioned at the factory for MY2024.
