Certified · v0.2 · Coming
Certified is where gear, operators, and guides that have passed the OS get named. Every certification lists the module it’s scoped to, the test it passed, and the failure mode it prevents. If we can’t say those three things, it’s not on the list.
Products that have passed a module's threshold test. Each certification names the module, the test, and the failure mode it prevents.

Tour operators, workshops, and outfitters who plan trips against Expedition OS. When you book with them, they've already had the argument.
Listings publish · v0.3
Individuals who plan and lead trips using the OS. Cross-listed with the operator they work with, and with the module competencies they've verified.

What Certified is not
Nobody pays to be on Certified. No affiliate revenue changes the list. Inclusions are named alongside the specific test they passed and the failure mode they prevent.
Products get removed if they change materially between certification and today. Operators get removed if a client reports a plan that wasn’t run against the OS. The removals will be listed too.
