Front-brake fluid reservoir is on the right handlebar master cylinder. Keep DOT 4 away from paint and do not ride if the level loss is unexplained.

Air-filter housing sits beneath the fuel-tank/upper-engine cover area and feeds both carburettors. Check element sealing before carburettor adjustment.

Battery is beneath the seat. Disconnect the negative lead before removing the front engine cover or disturbing charging-system wiring; reconnect it last.
ReferenceGearbox and final-drive fill points
Gearbox fill is on the transmission case and final-drive fill is on the rear bevel housing; they are separate 0.80 L and 0.26 L compartments.

Alternator rotor and diode board are behind the front engine cover. Disconnect the battery negative lead before removing that cover to prevent a direct short.
